Subjunctive: Introduction
According to the grammar books, the subjunctive is basically found with three different meanings:

  2. Hortative. In main clauses, the subjunctive is used as the first person imperative.
  3. Negative directive. With μή, the aorist subjunctive is used as the second person subjunctive.
