Vocab lists created using Perseus

Perseus is more than just an online store of Classical texts. You can use it for prose composition with English to Greek/Latin word searches or use it to find certain word combinations in particular authors to name just two useful functions. One of the less well known uses is to produce vocab lists of certain works.

Some I've made earlier:

Greek

Euripides Medea 50/Euripides Medea 75/Euripides Medea 100/Lysias 75/Xenophon Ath Pol 50/Xenophon Ath Pol 75/Xenophon Ath Pol 100

Latin

Ovid Ars Amatoria 50/Ovid Ars Amatoria 75/Ovid Ars Amatoria 100

Instructions for making similar sheets yourself

Go to the vocab tool for Greek or for Latin
Choose text
Choose options with the radio buttons below (50% shows the absolute fundamentals and 75% will cover the most usual words used)
Click 'show vocabulary'
If you get an error message try refreshing the browser - it's a bit unreliable but seems to work eventually!
