οὔκουν τόδ’ αἰσχρόν, εἰ βλέποντι μὲν φίλῳ
χρώμεσθ’, ἐπεὶ δ’ ὄλωλε, μὴ χρώμεσθ’ ἔτι;

Is it not shameful, to treat him as a friend while he lives,
but no longer treat him as such when he’s dead.
