Μήδεια: ἀλλ’ ἄντομαί σε τῆσδε πρὸς γενειάδος
γονάτων τε τῶν σῶν ἱκεσία τε γίγνομαι,
οἴκτιρον οἴκτιρόν με τὴν δυσδαίμονα
καὶ μή μ’ ἔρημον ἐκπεσοῦσαν εἰσίδῃς,
